U-14 RULES OF THE GAME

1. Size 5 ball(each team will provide one soccer ball for a game)

2. 11 v 11 per side unless agreed upon before the start of the game by both coaches and approved by the referee.

3. Game Length: 2 – 35 minute halves with 10-15 min half time period.

4. GCSA will provide a Center Referee and two assistant line referees.

5. Substitution: Same as U-10 and U-12

6. Corner kicks, goal kicks, indirect/direct kicks, penalty kicks and offsides will be enforced.

7. Yellow cards and Red cards will be used if needed.

8. The referee will briefly explain any rule infractions to the offending player.

9. It is recommended that all games start on time. It will be up to the referee/coach to allow any “late start” of a game. The referee will determine if all conditions are met to start a game. If the conditions are such that the team cannot take the playing field at the appointed time to start the game, the game will be forfeited to the opposing team.

10. An abandoned match will not be replayed.

11. There will be no replays of throw-ins where the player delivering the ball commits a foul.
